Misr Measurement and Control ”MMC” appoints Ehab Eissa to its Board of Directors

Misr Measurement and Control “MMC” announced the appointment of banker Ehab Eissa, director of multinational companies at HSBC Bank Egypt, as a member of its board of directors.

This comes within the framework of the company’s keenness to diversify the scientific and professional experiences and specialized skills of the Board of Directors. This contributes to enhancing efficiency when making decisions to achieve its vision and strategy in the markets in which it operates.

Ehab has 20 years of experience in managing companies and investment institutions in Egypt and the GCC countries, and has held leadership positions in many Egyptian and regional banks.

Ehab, a graduate of the Faculty of Economics and Political Science – Cairo University completed his MBA with a focus on finance in 2006 from the Arab Academy for Science and Technology.

Started his banking career in 2003, where he worked in several banks in retail, corporate and transactional banking services in both Egypt and the United Arab Emirates, joining HSBC Bank in March 2007.

Ehab held the position of Head of HSBC Securities Services between 2018 and 2021 with a global exposure to financial institutions, and he is currently Head of Multinationals Coverage at HSBC Bank Egypt since April 2021. His management experience includes not only managing companies and investment institutions in Egypt and the GCC, but also extends to P&L responsibilities, governance and risk management.

In 2022 Ehab successfully completed “The Emerging Board Leaders Fellowship Program”, a program designed to accelerate high potential, exceptional Arab women and men on their path to the boardroom.

Ehab expressed his enthusiasm for this position in light of the company’s work in one of the giant sectors in Egypt and the world, which is the metal and steel sector. Especially MMC is a regional leader in the manufacturing and supply of measurement and process control elements as well as a host of other ingredients used for the processing of molten metals. and exports its products to many countries of the Middle East and Africa, carrying the logo “Proudly Made in Egypt”. as well as the company’s great interest in the societal aspect, as it allocates half of its profits to social responsibility programs.
